This is number 6 of 11 woodblock prints that I made at Frogman’s print workshop at University of Iowa in the summer of 2025. The size is approximately 14 × 17.5 inches.

I created a varied edition, which means the prints are basically the same image but each one is slightly different. The color areas are chine colle, which are pieces of hand-dyed paper that are glued onto the print as it goes through the press. I found both the gluing process and working with black ink to be quite challenging, but the results were fun. I especially liked being able to play with the background/foreground by changing where I put the color.
